About Me
Afroisms by Jiva Jive
I started writing after I graduated from Purdue University. I figured I had an education so I should go get some world experiences. I had a great time in Brazil, but I realized I was not going to learn the language, so I worked to understand English better. I'd go to the beach and jot down my ideas of Love Unity and Peace in my spiral notebook and learned new words with my electronic dictionary. After I moved to Maui I got my first job and saved up to by a computer. I then started turing my ideas into formed pages, all while making the illustration for my first book. I taught my self what it took to get it into the Library of Commerce and was proud of what I had accomplished. Latter in life, the written word called to me again and I started producing Afroisms. Feel free to pursue my volumes and share them with your friends and family.
